Religious Education Registration 2011-12

All households with children age 3* through 12th grade who wish to attend church school or Religious Education (RE) events must complete this form.

   *Children must be 3 by September and potty-trained to attend church school.  Children who are registered for RE are not eligible for nursery care.

A materials fee of $35 per child will be assessed to all non-pledging families at the time of registration.  If this fee presents a hardship to your family, we encourage you to speak with the DRE so that an alternate agreement can be reached.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Concord recognizes that the commitment to the spiritual lives of children is a cooperative ministry.  Each family registering a child or children in RE is asked to offer their gifts from time to time, when called upon, and to supply classroom snacks 3 times per year.  This commitment may be fulfilled by one or more members of a family, including parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, adult siblings, or friends.

We use VolunteerSpot.com for snack scheduling, you will receive an e-mail in the fall with instructions for signing up.  Four families will sign up for each Sunday.  On your assigned days, please bring enough snack for 12 children no later than 10:15.  Please make sure any foods are ready to serve when dropped off (grapes washed, apples cut up, etc.).  Snacks should be vegetarian.  If your child is vegan or has other dietary restrictions, you may wish to send an alternate snack with your child.
