“Putting Neighbor into the Hood”
Rev. Michael Leuchtenberger
Last year’s “Love Your Neighbor” rallies were powerful public affirmations of our commitment to welcoming new neighbors to our “hoods” - the places we live. Yet, loving our neighbor, new or established, calls for more than rallies. To love our neighbors, we need to know our neighbors, spend time with our neighbors, and create relationships that turn the “hood” in to a neighborhood.
