Each year, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, offers us a time to reflect on where we failed to live up to our aspirations, to accept responsibility for the hurts we have caused, and to move to forgiveness. Accepting responsibility can lead to restoring the peace – the peace within us and the peace among us.
